A clearer way to plan your courses.
Tip: Click ⓘ next to Course Catalog for course details. Double-click or drag to quickly add or remove courses.
Select required and optional courses and submit to generate schedules.
The planner builds timetables from your Required and Optional lists using the course catalog (periods, terms, and grade rules). Grade and graduation rules are warnings only — you still get schedules when required courses fit the timetable.
Required courses must all be included in every timetable.
Optional courses are ranked by priority (#1 = highest).
Only allowlisted multi-period courses (e.g. Algebra 1A/1B) may use two periods: add that course twice in Required or twice in Optional, not split across lists. Other year-long courses appear once.
All required courses are placed with no period conflicts.
If they cannot fit together, the planner shows an error — this is the only grade-unrelated block.
The planner tries optional combinations, prioritizing higher-ranked courses. Optionals that conflict or exceed slot limits are dropped for that option.
Each course is assigned to a period (A–G) and term (Fall, Spring, or Year), with no conflicts.
Each option is checked on the courses it includes (required plus kept optional). Warnings appear under that option’s title — credits, required groups, AP limits, mixed grade levels, and more.
Dropped optional courses are not counted toward credits or other rules for that option.
Options are sorted by how many high-priority optional courses are included. Each option may include multiple timetable variants for the same set of courses.
This tool supports planning. Final course selections should be confirmed with your counselor. After you generate schedules, you can print the required-course order and timetables to take to that meeting.
